you know how when you were young (cue The Killers) and you were outside playing with friends and they did something you didnt like so you did the whole "im taking my (object) and going home"?

well thats essentially what i did with this blog.

took it over to VOX, gonna try to be more serious about it (how serious can you get with a blog? dont know but ill find out). i look at this as an upgrade, i think my blog will look alot better visually and i'll try to update more about my life and my interest and just different things i like. kinda like a half journal/hey this is cool i found on the internet/i like cheese thing. hopefully doug will learn more about me since i think hes the only one that reads this haha

so i dont really know what else to say, i dont even think anyone reads this lol

I found my old xanga today, kinda interesting to look back on how things were at that time (last post was Dec 05, my freshman year of college). Just reading those old posts brings me back to those same old feelings. its crazy. I feel like i'm still that same person and i still worry about the same things but i also know that ive grown up alot since my freshman year.

So a month from today i will be moving back home for the summer. To be honest i cant wait, but I have a pretty busy month ahead of me (projects, papers, test, concerts, prom, finals and still trying to find an apartment). kinda stressful, but i'm a strong person and i'll get through it. I'm excited for this summer, just spending time with friends and family, and spending some much needed time with katlynne and getting to know her better.

Covers

I love when bands/artists do cover of songs (so yesterday anyone?), especially full albums of covers (NFGs cover albums, Punk goes ___ ablums). The new cover cd thats coming out next week is Punk goes Crunk, and heres a couple youtube videos of the songs. The Men In Black one by Forever The Sickest Kids is my fav and I hope both them and All Time Low play their covers when i go see them in Des Moines next week
